TAGANAI, an ancient Asian tribal (Türük) word translated “moon holder” and the name of the Ural Mountain chain that divides Russia from Siberia, features a cast of 30 talented European performers including acrobats, aerialists, clowns, jugglers and dancers. The show brings a lighthearted high-energy performance showcasing the best artistic disciplines that the contemporary circus can offer: slick wire, unsupported ladder balancing, contortion-hand balancing, limbo, the daring motorcycle globe and many other unique acts.
“Audiences will find TAGANAI unlike anything they’ve ever seen before,” said DreamCast Entertainment’s Misha Matorin, the show’s creator and producer. “It’s edge-of-your-seat fun for families of all ages.”
Matorin, a veteran aerialist himself, grew up in the Moscow Circus and became an International circus star. His acts can still be seen in the Cirque Du Soleil production “Mystere” and other renowned circuses around the globe. Now retired from performing, Matorin uses his background and expertise to develop shows consisting of the finest aerial, acrobatic and discipline talents in the world. He has produced a number of award-winning circus acts and successful sold-out Cirque-style production shows including APHELION, BALAGAN, EZURU and FUNAMBULA. Based in Las Vegas, DreamCast Entertainment production shows consistently tour the United States and overseas.
